Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist to lead both traditional and AI‑driven SEO initiatives for our clients. You will be responsible for auditing sites, developing organic strategies, and integrating cutting‑edge AI tools to keep our clients visible across search engines and emerging AI discovery platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct competitive research and analyze AI search engine presence and share‑of‑voice.
• Develop comprehensive SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies tailored to client challenges.
• Integrate AI‑powered SEO and analytics tools for keyword research, content gap analysis, and predictive trend forecasting.
• Manage internal and external teams to execute technical, content, and link‑building projects.
• Present deliverables and report on organic traffic, AI‑driven impressions, and overall SEO effectiveness.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of hands‑on experience in an SEO role.
• Strong understanding of evolving search algorithms, large language model behavior, and their impact on SEO.
• Ability to work with large data sets, automate repetitive tasks, and drive actionable insights.
• Motivation to expand AI literacy and take on greater responsibility.

Required skills

• Proficiency with traditional SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, and Moz.
• Experience using AI‑assisted SEO tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, Screaming Frog AI integrations).
• Hands‑on knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and tracking non‑traditional organic referrals.
• Expertise in content creation/optimization, link building, advanced schema markup, and site‑speed optimization.
• Familiarity with AI discovery engines like Google Gemini/SGE, Perplexity, and OpenAI Search.
