SAP Data Management Senior Manager

About the role

PwC is looking for an experienced SAP Data Management Senior Manager in Toronto to lead data strategy, governance, migration and delivery across complex transformation programs. The role works closely with business and Information Systems leaders to define the data vision and ensure high-quality master and transactional data is migrated to SAP S/4HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the data management and migration workstream through the full SAP S/4HANA lifecycle, from strategy and planning to deployment, go-live and stabilization.
• Facilitate executive discussions and workshops to define the data vision, governance model, scope and roadmap.
• Lead data discovery, scoping, profiling, cleansing, transformation, mapping, validation, reconciliation and load activities.
• Define the end-to-end migration strategy, including architecture, tools, environments, mock-conversion cycles, cutover and validation.
• Establish data governance, ownership, stewardship, quality standards, business rules, controls, metrics and decision-making forums.
• Manage the data workstream plan, resources, budget, dependencies, risks, issues, deliverables and status reporting.
• Drive data readiness, oversee mock conversions and production migration, and design validation, reconciliation and sign-off processes.
• Lead, coach and develop consultants and coordinate with program leadership and other workstreams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, information technology, engineering, information systems, data management or a related discipline.
• More than 10 years of experience in SAP data management, data migration, governance or transformation, including leadership on large SAP programs.
• Proven experience leading the data workstream for at least three end-to-end SAP implementations, preferably involving SAP S/4HANA.
• Ability to lead strategic discussions with senior business and IS stakeholders and turn business objectives into an executable data strategy.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, SAP Data Services, SAP Landscape Transformation Replication Server, SAP HANA, SAP Integration Suite/CPI-DS, SAP Data Intelligence and SAP Master Data Governance.
• Knowledge of ETL, data profiling and transformation, SQL and Python.
• Strong knowledge of master and transactional data across finance, procurement, sales, manufacturing and supply chain.

The salary range is $168,000 - $218,000, with possible variable incentive pay. The role is not open to work visa sponsorship.
