Sample Logistics Technician

About the role

The Sample Logistics Technician supports the Sample Logistics team by receiving, preparing, and shipping client samples while handling related administrative tasks. This position ensures timely entry of samples into the LIMS and maintains high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients and receive external client samples.
• Unpack and organize samples according to analytical requirements.
• Enter samples into LIMS, ensuring timely approval based on holding time, test code, and due dates.
• Redirect required samples and prepare bottle order requests.
• Support the Sample Login team and maintain accurate data entry.
• Monitor and calibrate fridge temperatures, thermometers, and temperature guns.
• Maintain supply inventories and ensure good housekeeping standards.
• Escalate routine and non‑routine problems to the Supervisor.

Required profile

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate when needed.
• Energetic, positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs and work shift, overtime, and weekends.
