Sales Specialist – Roofing & Building Envelope

About the role

Roofmart, Canada's national distributor for exterior building supply covering roofing, siding, metal and building envelope, is hiring a Sales Specialist in Brampton. You will build and manage customer relationships with contractors, architects and other clients, drive sales growth and expand market share through tailored solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers to increase sales of company products
• Grow new business and expand market share by offering solutions to current and future contractors, architects and customers
• Define, build, implement and monitor the sales plan, including strategies, targets and priorities
• Create action plans for sales targets and work with suppliers to execute them
• Educate customers and staff on products and manage customer sample and educational stock levels
• Manage customer payments and credit with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations and AR adjustments within set rules

Required profile

• College diploma or degree (Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3+ years of successful sales experience
• Knowledge of the roofing industry is an asset
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel
• Authorized to work in Canada
