Sales Manager – Automotive Dealership

About the role

The Sales Manager will support the General Sales Manager in planning, organizing and controlling the sales department’s activities while measuring team performance. This role ensures smooth communication between sales and other departments and drives achievement of monthly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with department managers to maintain clear communication between sales and other areas.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of dealership policies, procedures and product offerings.
• Set, track and achieve monthly sales objectives.
• Oversee vehicle delivery standards to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Guide sales team members in establishing short‑ and long‑term sales goals.
• Provide ongoing training, performance feedback and improvement plans for sales associates.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication abilities.
• Current OMVIC licence and a valid Ontario driver’s licence with a good driving record.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively at all organisational levels.
• Proficiency in maintaining records and preparing reports using a computerized system.
• Sound decision‑making skills aligned with essential job functions.
