Sales Associate – Furniture Retail

About the role

The Dufresne Group, the largest Ashley licensee in Canada, is looking for a motivated Sales Associate to join the Ashley Canada team at the Edmonton North store. You will be the face of the brand, helping guests turn their houses into homes by recommending the right furniture and décor.

Key responsibilities

• Provide product knowledge, features and benefits to guide guest purchase decisions.
• Meet or exceed individual sales and productivity targets.
• Enter sales orders accurately, process payments and manage delivery timelines.
• Maintain stock availability and coordinate open orders.
• Develop a prospect system through outbound calls, e‑commerce leads, walk‑ins and appointments.
• Monitor competitor pricing and promotions.

Required profile

• High school diploma.
• 2+ years of retail, commission sales or related experience.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items up to 30 lb.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings and weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
