Front Store Manager – Full‑Time Flexible Shifts

About the role

The Front Store Manager leads all non‑pharmacy areas of the store, including cosmetics and other front‑store departments. This full‑time, flexible‑shift position is responsible for delivering excellent customer service, driving store profitability and ensuring operational standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to optimise the customer experience and positively impact profitability.
• Manage labour scheduling and staffing levels using Work Force Management tools.
• Hire, onboard and support staff across all front‑store departments (excluding pharmacy) while ensuring compliance with HR standards.
• Conduct probationary and annual performance reviews, providing coaching and action plans.
• Analyse financial reports, identify trends and implement corrective actions to meet quarterly and annual targets.
• Set departmental goals, develop strategies to improve business efficiency and drive a culture aligned with core values.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years retail management experience with a proven ability to drive business results.
• Strong planning, judgement and decision‑making skills, especially for inventory and expense control.
• Effective leadership and mentorship abilities, with a focus on staff development.
• Excellent time‑management, organisational and prioritisation capabilities.
• Superior interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
• Strong business and financial acumen, and ability to build relationships with internal and external partners.
