About the role
The Sales Associate will work in a fast‑paced wholesale environment, assisting customers with building‑material and electrical‑supply purchases, rentals, or leases. You will handle transactions, maintain inventory records, and provide product advice.
Key responsibilities
- Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payments.
- Operate computerized inventory record‑keeping and re‑ordering systems.
- Provide advice about merchandise and assist in product displays.
- Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, warranties and delivery dates.
- Greet customers, discuss product type, quality and quantity, and prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease.
- Maintain sales records for inventory control.
Required profile
- Adaptable, energetic and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Excellent oral communication and ability to multitask.
- Organized, reliable, punctual and honest.
- Team player with maturity and quick learning ability.
