Sales and Business Development Representative

About the role
Join our dynamic sales team to drive growth across three business units – two foundries and one machining facility. You will build lasting client relationships, understand their manufacturing needs, and propose tailored solutions that benefit both the customer and our company.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect new clients and develop business opportunities in the manufacturing sector.
- Manage and retain an existing portfolio of accounts.
- Promote the production capabilities of our foundry and machining units according to the commercial strategy.
- Listen to client needs, propose appropriate solutions, and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Participate in trade shows, events, and training related to commercial activities.
- Use the CRM to document activities and track opportunities.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities based on unit‑specific sales filters.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth client interactions.
- Monitor market trends and competition, providing strategic insights to management.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership.
Required profile
- University degree in mechanical engineering, business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Relevant sales and business development experience in manufacturing.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including trips to the United States and abroad.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities in both French and English.
- Strong listening skills, customer focus, and the ability to build trust‑based relationships.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer tools and CRM systems.
