Rope Access Technician (RAT)

About the role

AllWest Facility Services Ltd is seeking a qualified Rope Access Technician (RAT) to perform high‑risk work at heights across various customer sites in and around Vancouver. The role involves working outdoors in challenging conditions such as dust, heat, noise, and wet environments while delivering on‑site service to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rope access tasks including inspection, maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment at height.
• Adhere to IRATA standards and safety protocols on every job site.
• Provide direct on‑site customer service, addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Travel to multiple locations and adapt to varying site conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and safety checks.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in rope access or related high‑rise work.
• IRATA certification.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent oral communication.
• Physical capability to bend, crouch, kneel, stand for extended periods, and perform demanding manual tasks.
