Retail Supervisor

About the role

The Retail Supervisor will lead a team of sales associates and cashiers in a busy IGA store, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service. This full‑time, permanent position reports to store management and focuses on both people and product management.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise 16‑20 staff members, including cashiers and sales clerks.
• Assign duties, create work schedules, and coordinate daily tasks.
• Order merchandise, maintain inventory levels, and organize stock.
• Sell merchandise and handle cash transactions.
• Prepare sales, merchandising, and personnel reports.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
• Oversee payroll administration and conduct performance reviews.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in retail or a related field.
• Availability to start on the posted date.
• Ability to work evenings and nights as required.
