About the role
We are looking for a proactive Retail Store Supervisor to lead our sales team in Grande Prairie. You will ensure smooth daily operations, maintain high customer service standards, and support a welcoming environment for youth employees.
Key responsibilities
- Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules.
- Hire, train, or arrange training for staff.
- Authorize returns of merchandise and resolve customer complaints.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Organise and maintain inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, ensuring a fast‑paced environment.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in retail supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle day and weekend shifts.
- Willingness to support on‑the‑job training for youth.
