About the role
We are looking for a Retail Store Supervisor to lead our store team in Norquay. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service while meeting sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise staff, including apprentices and temporary workers.
- Assign duties, establish work schedules, and conduct performance reviews.
- Hire, train, and arrange ongoing training for employees.
- Order and authorize return of merchandise, manage cash and payments by cheque.
- Maintain inventory, organize stock, and handle supply shortages.
- Sell merchandise and resolve customer requests or complaints.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Monitor sales performance and implement merchandising strategies.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and health & safety standards.
Required profile
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Participation in youth employment programs, offering on‑the‑job training, mentorship and a welcoming work environment.
