Mortgage Specialist (Remote)

About the role

Manulife Bank in Western Ontario is hiring a Mortgage Specialist for an immediate, remote position. You will sell Manulife Bank financial solutions directly to clients and work alongside financial advisors within a defined territory. The role is 100% commission-based, so earnings depend on your performance.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and promote Manulife One, Manulife Bank Select and related lending solutions through conversations that understand client needs and goals.
• Build a consumer client base to enable direct sales of lending solutions.
• Deliver efficiently and direct business flow to the right servicing unit.
• Share field feedback with the bank to suggest improvements to products and services.
• Partner with Business Development Managers and other banking specialists to build advisor interest in debt management and deposit solutions.
• Travel within the assigned territory.

Required profile

• Proven track record of high performance in a busy sales environment.
• Solid underwriting experience with residential mortgages (3-5 years).
• 5+ years of financial services experience preferred, or in a sales/service capacity.
• Consultative sales capability, including needs analysis, relationship building and strong closing skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, analytical and decision-making skills, and strong customer and relationship management.
