Retail Store Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Store Supervisor to lead our Penticton location. You will oversee daily store operations, manage a small team, ensure excellent customer service, maintain visual merchandising standards, and drive sales performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff, including support for newcomers and refugees.
  • Authorize merchandise returns and manage inventory.
  • Sell merchandise and resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of 3‑4 employees.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 1–2 years experience in retail supervision.
  • Ability to manage a team of 3‑4 people.
  • Availability for early‑morning and day shifts.
  • Commitment to creating a welcoming environment for youth and newcomers.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
