About the role
We are seeking a motivated Retail Store Manager to lead daily operations at our Canadian Tire location in Concord, Ontario. The role involves overseeing staff, managing merchandise, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Direct, control, evaluate, and plan daily store operations.
- Manage and assign duties to a team of 5‑10 employees.
- Determine merchandise mix and develop marketing strategies.
- Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses.
- Assess staffing needs and schedule shifts.
- Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Recruit, hire, and supervise staff and volunteers.
- Conduct performance reviews.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2‑3 years of retail management experience.
- Experience supervising 5‑10 team members.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, nights, days, weekends, or shifts.
