Retail Store Associate – Part‑Time

About the role

Homesense is looking for enthusiastic Retail Store Associates to join the Ottawa team on a part‑time basis. You will help create a welcoming environment for shoppers and support daily store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them throughout their visit.
• Perform cashier duties, operate the point‑of‑sale system, and handle transactions accurately.
• Provide fitting‑room assistance, restock merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
• Support back‑room tasks such as inventory handling and merchandise presentation.
• Participate in training programs to develop product knowledge and customer‑service skills.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable, and able to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Team‑oriented with strong communication and listening abilities.
• Flexible, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Willing to undergo a criminal record check (candidates 18+).
