Retail Store Associate

About the role

As a Retail Store Associate at Big Box Outlet Store, you will help keep the store organized and appealing by stocking clothing, handling the cash register, and delivering excellent customer service. This part‑time position offers the chance to develop retail skills in a fast‑moving, discount‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Stock shelves, racks, bins and tables with new clothing and merchandise.
• Sort and organize bins of clothing received from the distribution center.
• Process point‑of‑sale transactions and handle cash accurately.
• Price and sticker merchandise for display.
• Assist customers, answer their questions and guide them to suitable selections.
• Maintain a clean, safe and attractive store environment.
• Transport purchased items to customers’ vehicles when needed.

Required profile

• At least one year of retail experience, preferably in a clothing store.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• First Aid certification (preferred).
• Forklift licence (preferred).
