About the role

PetSmart is seeking a full‑time Retail Sales Associate to join its Calgary store. In this role you will engage with pet parents, provide knowledgeable assistance, and help maintain a safe, clean environment for both customers and store‑owned pets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist pet parents throughout the store and over the phone.
• Process in‑store and online orders, ensuring a smooth pick‑up experience.
• Care for store‑owned pets, including feeding, watering, cleaning habitats, and administering medications as directed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety standards.
• Support weekly price changes, promotional pricing, and product merchandising.
• Recommend and sell merchandise, services, and live pets.
• Promote special events such as adoption weekends and charity initiatives.
• Assist in various store areas as needed, including services.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented retail environment.
