About the role

Cobs Bread is looking for a Retail Bakery Manager to lead daily operations at its Vancouver location. You will be responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring product quality, and driving sales in a fast‑paced bakery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, evaluate, and plan daily bakery operations.
• Manage staff, assign duties, and conduct performance reviews.
• Study market trends to determine consumer demand and set merchandising strategies.
• Implement pricing and credit policies, and procure merchandise for resale.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost sales.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of retail or bakery management experience.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physical capability to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail.
