Retail Bakery Manager

About the role

The Retail Bakery Manager will lead daily bakery operations in a fast‑paced retail environment. You will be responsible for ensuring product quality, customer satisfaction, and profitable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Direct, control, evaluate, plan and organize daily bakery operations.
• Manage a team of 5‑10 staff, assign duties, recruit, hire and supervise employees.
• Study market trends, set merchandise mix, pricing and credit policies.
• Locate, select and procure bakery goods for resale.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies and new product offerings.
• Plan budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and resolve customer complaints or supply shortages.

Required profile

• Adaptable, collaborative, creative and goal‑oriented.
• Strong time‑management, multitasking and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and own transportation.
