About the role
We are looking for a proactive Retail Assistant Manager to support daily store operations at our Harold's Speedee Mart in Slave Lake. You will work closely with the store manager to ensure smooth service, effective merchandising, and excellent customer experiences. The role involves supervising staff, handling inventory, and ensuring compliance with store policies. You will also coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
Key responsibilities
- Manage staff, assign duties and oversee performance.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold and implement pricing and credit policies.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive sales.
- Resolve customer requests, complaints and address supply shortages.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2 to less than 3 years of retail management experience.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work day and weekend shifts.
