About the role

We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of Aroma Indian Restaurant & Lounge in Port Moody. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe, efficient dining environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate and coordinate daily restaurant operations.
  • Monitor and improve staff performance, including scheduling, training, and supervision.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members.
  • Set staff work schedules and manage shift rotations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Address customer complaints and provide high‑quality service.
  • Lead and instruct individuals to achieve service standards.

Required profile

  • Secondary school graduation certificate.
  • 2–3 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and lead a team in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to resolve customer issues.
  • Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and shifts.
