About the role
We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of Aroma Indian Restaurant & Lounge in Port Moody. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe, efficient dining environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and coordinate daily restaurant operations.
- Monitor and improve staff performance, including scheduling, training, and supervision.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop new team members.
- Set staff work schedules and manage shift rotations.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address customer complaints and provide high‑quality service.
- Lead and instruct individuals to achieve service standards.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 2–3 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Ability to plan, organize, and lead a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to resolve customer issues.
- Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and shifts.
