Restaurant Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our Tim Hortons location in Guelph. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to drive profitability, maintain high service standards, and lead a team of front‑line staff.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets for food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Monitor revenues and labour costs to ensure profitability.
• Evaluate daily operations and adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing accordingly.
• Plan, organize and supervise daily restaurant activities, including inventory management.
• Recruit, schedule, train and conduct performance reviews for 5‑10 staff members.
• Implement operational procedures and determine service offerings.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
