Resident Manager – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

Centurion is seeking a Resident Manager for a six‑month contract to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of a multi‑family apartment community in Kitchener. Reporting to the Senior Property Manager, you will ensure the property is well‑maintained, financially sound, and delivers a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and staff, addressing concerns promptly.
• Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and feedback courteously, fostering a strong sense of community.
• Manage leasing activities: market units, show apartments, process applications, collect deposits and rent payments.
• Oversee routine maintenance, work orders, and ensure vacant units are rent‑ready and common areas are clean.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance, seasonal tasks such as snow removal, and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Provide 24/7 emergency response for fire, flood, or injury situations, following safety procedures.
