About the role

The Reproductive Population Health Data Research Team at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences seeks a Research Assistant/Technician 3 to support a CIHR‑funded program investigating policy impacts on reproductive health. This fixed‑term position will involve quantitative epidemiology, health policy analysis, and patient‑oriented research.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze population‑based health administrative data using statistical software.
  • Develop and maintain analytic protocols and documentation.
  • Assist with grant writing, progress reports, and manuscript preparation.
  • Engage partners, including patient representatives, policymakers, and clinicians.
  • Set up and manage surveys in REDCap and Qualtrics.
  • Support ethics applications, literature reviews, and bibliographic management.

Required profile

  • University degree in health sciences, epidemiology, public health, or related field.
  • Experience working with large health datasets and quantitative methods.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
