Nurse Navigator – 16‑Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role
The Health Employers Association of British Columbia (HEABC) is seeking a Nurse Navigator for a 16‑month contract. The role supports Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) through the provincial licensing and credentialing process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to practice in BC.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one guidance to nursing candidates navigating BC regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies such as BCCNM and Inspire Global Assessments to monitor candidate progress.
- Identify and remove bottlenecks in the licensing pathway.
- Maintain and update candidate tracking systems, generating key metrics for reporting.
- Review candidate credentials and advise on alternative registration pathways.
Required profile
- Experience supporting nursing candidates through licensing or credentialing processes.
- Familiarity with BC nursing regulatory bodies and their requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
