About the role
The Montreal-Paris Neurobank Project is seeking a Research Assistant to support data collection and participant management under the direction of Dr. Najmeh Khalili-Mahani. This full‑time, fixed‑term position involves hands‑on work with MEG and MRI scanners and coordination of study participants.
Key responsibilities
- Support the recruitment team by contacting participants and scheduling visits.
- Book and manage scanner time, including overtime coordination and cancellations.
- Assist trainees and lab members with preparing experimental materials, such as downloading files or code.
- Accompany participants to MEG and MRI sessions and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Administer cognitive tests, enter results into the database, and verify data transfer from scanners.
- Review raw data for artifacts and report findings.
- Conduct MEG acquisition according to project protocols.
Required profile
- Fluency in English (level 3/4) and functional knowledge of French.
- Eligibility to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
- Ability to work onsite at the Montreal Neuro campus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

What we offer
- Hourly salary of $30.54 CAD.
- 28 hours per week, full‑time schedule.
- Fixed‑term contract from June 2026 to June 2027.
