Registered Practical Nurse – Retirement Residence

About the role
The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) provides professional nursing care to residents of a Chartwell retirement residence. You will work directly with seniors, ensuring their health needs are met while supporting a team of Care Workers.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver individualized nursing care and monitor resident health status.
- Assist with resident assessments and contribute to care plan development.
- Supervise and guide Care Workers to ensure quality care delivery.
- Promote resident wellbeing and help them enjoy daily activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and member in good standing.
- Passion for caring for seniors and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse team members.
Required skills
- Clinical nursing competencies as defined by the College of Nurses Standard of Practice.
- Ability to assess resident needs and implement care plans.
- Leadership and mentorship skills for guiding Care Workers.
