Registered Nurse (R.N.) – Full-time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (R.N.) to join our team at Valleyview Residence in North York. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care in a long‑term care setting, supporting both patients and the interdisciplinary health team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist health‑care practitioners during examinations and treatments, documenting symptoms and changes in patient condition.
• Monitor patients, report any changes to physicians, and assess needs to determine appropriate nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and families.
• Administer medications, deliver immunizations, conduct disease screenings, and operate medical equipment as prescribed.
• Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff while performing necessary administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and eligibility for RN licensure in Ontario.
• 1–2 years of nursing experience in a hospital, clinic, retirement home, or long‑term care facility.
• Certificates: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and First Aid; strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.

Required skills
