Registered Nurse – Part‑Time (Louise Marshall Hospital)

About the role

North Wellington Health Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a regular part‑time position at Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest. The role provides comprehensive nursing care in accordance with Ontario standards and hospital policies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient‑centered nursing care across all hospital areas.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, apply and interpret ECGs, and manage arrhythmias.
• Administer IV therapy, perform phlebotomy, and operate defibrillators.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and assume charge/leadership duties as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold infection‑control standards.

Required profile

• Current Ontario RN Certificate of Competence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Willingness to work all shifts and all hospital areas.
• Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Required skills

• BCLS certification.
• ACLS (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
• NRP (or willingness to obtain within 6 months).
• Cardiac monitoring skills (ECG application & interpretation, arrhythmia interpretation) or commitment to obtain within 3 months.
• IV therapy competency or commitment to obtain within 3 months.
• Phlebotomy competency or commitment to obtain within 3 months.
• Defibrillation certification or competency within 6 months.
• TNCC recommended.
• ENPC/PALS recommended.
