About the role
The University Health Network (UHN) is seeking two part‑time Registered Nurses to join the Medical/Radiation Inpatient Oncology team at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. This permanent position offers 22.5 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, covering days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, collaborative, and competent nursing care in accordance with UHN’s Professional Practice Model and Ontario nursing standards.
- Deliver patient‑centered care to oncology patients, applying nursing science, critical decision‑making and evidence‑based practice.
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to hospital policies, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Engage in reflective practice and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Perform cross‑functional duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
Required profile
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and ability to meet physical demands of the role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
