Registered Nurse – Long‑term Care (Part‑time Relief)

About the role

Interior Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN/RPN) to provide high‑quality care in a long‑term care setting. This part‑time relief position offers a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where you will work both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to long‑term care patients, enhancing their quality of life.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other health‑care providers to coordinate patient care.
• Apply evidence‑based practice and continuous improvement principles in daily nursing activities.
• Maintain and advance personal clinical competence through ongoing learning.
• Participate in designated hospital committees, teams, and approved research projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Licensed RN or RPN with experience in long‑term care.
• Reliable, flexible, and motivated individual able to adapt to rotating day shifts (07:45‑18:15).
• Strong commitment to patient‑centered care and teamwork.
• Willingness to engage in professional development and committee work.
