Registered Nurse – Long‑term Care (Part‑time, Night Shift)

About the role

Interior Health is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN/RPN) to join the Long‑term Care team at Ponderosa Lodge in Kamloops. This permanent part‑time position (0.68 FTE) works rotating night shifts from 23:00 to 07:00, providing comprehensive nursing care to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to long‑term care patients both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Enhance patients’ and families’ quality of life through consultation, collaboration, and compassionate support.
• Apply evidence‑based practice and continuous improvement initiatives in daily nursing activities.
• Maintain and advance personal clinical competence.
• Participate in designated hospital committees, teams, and approved research projects.

Required profile

• Current RN or RPN registration and licensure in British Columbia.
• Experience in long‑term care or similar healthcare settings.
• Reliable, flexible, and motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work night shifts on a rotating schedule.
