About the role
Leica Microsystems is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the research microscopy sales teams across Canada and the Midwest United States. You will drive growth by shaping and executing sales strategies, building high‑performing teams, and delivering market‑leading customer experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies that achieve year‑over‑year funnel creation, order growth, and market‑share gains.
- Manage all aspects of sales funnel creation, development, and forecasting for the research microscopy portfolio.
- Monitor key performance indicators, conduct weekly funnel reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with field personnel to implement team‑selling approaches and key‑account growth plans.
- Recruit, train, and develop sales talent using Value Selling methodologies.
- Maintain rigorous standard work for forecast and pipeline management.
Required profile
- B.S. in Biology (preferred) and an MBA (a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably within life sciences, diagnostics, or biotechnology.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse sales teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills.
