Recruitment & On‑boarding Coordinator (Hybrid)

About the role

The Recruitment & On‑boarding Coordinator reports to the Manager, People & Culture and is responsible for delivering a seamless candidate experience from application through onboarding. This hybrid position supports Covenant House Toronto’s mission by attracting and integrating top talent to serve youth in need.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle: post jobs, source candidates, screen, interview, conduct background checks and coordinate offers.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure all recruitment documentation is accurate.
• Coordinate pre‑employment checks, prepare onboarding packets and schedule orientation sessions.
• Facilitate equipment setup, system access and workstation preparation for new hires.
• Track onboarding progress for the first three months, conduct check‑ins, exit and stay interviews.
• Monitor recruitment and onboarding KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

What we offer

• Competitive salary range $50,000 – $59,000 CAD per year.
