About the role
The Records Indexer supports Yukon Continuing Care by ensuring that all resident and administrative records are accurately organized, indexed, and easily retrievable. This permanent position contributes to a respectful, dignified environment for residents while maintaining compliance with corporate standards.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain records in accordance with corporate standards.
- Organize, index, and ensure easy retrieval of files.
- Assess records to determine status and appropriate handling.
- Coordinate file transfers, including off‑site storage and resident transitions.
- Support the implementation of records‑management programs in new facilities.
- Provide guidance and training to promote effective records‑management practices across teams.
Required profile
- Post‑secondary coursework or certification in business administration, office administration, or a related field.
- Experience working with confidential information and filing systems.
- Proven data‑entry experience with speed and accuracy.
- Significant experience using Microsoft Office applications.
