About the role
Join St. James Volkswagen as the first point of contact for visitors and customers. As the Receptionist, you will create a welcoming atmosphere while handling essential administrative duties in a fast‑paced automotive environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, providing an exceptional first impression.
- Perform general office tasks such as copying, scanning, and filing documents.
- Maintain meeting rooms and keep common areas tidy.
- Answer, forward, and screen phone calls professionally.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages.
- Book customer appointments and manage scheduling.
- Process accounts payable invoices, reconcile statements, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Support additional accounting projects as needed.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of reception or administrative experience; dealership experience preferred.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a high‑volume setting.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
