About the role
BRP is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to design, develop, and maintain statistical models that forecast the evolution of the powersports market, company sales, and market share. You will turn large, complex datasets into actionable insights that support strategic decisions across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain quantitative and statistical models for sales and market forecasting.
- Analyze internal and external data sources, including sales, market data, economic indicators, and industry trends.
- Evaluate model performance, validate results, and continuously improve models with new data.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and strategy teams to provide data‑driven analyses and scenario planning.
- Stay current with best practices, analytical methods, and industry trends to innovate modeling approaches.
Required profile
- University degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field.
- Strong experience in quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, and forecasting, preferably with commercial or market data.
- Proficiency with analytical tools such as Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
- Ability to work with large, complex datasets while ensuring data quality.
- Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking skills with scientific rigor.
- Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Experience in the powersports or related manufacturing sector is a plus.
