Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will drive continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and products at Bath Fitter. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to exceed quality standards, ensure regulatory compliance, and support ISO certification activities.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize manufacturing process quality using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Maintain and improve documentation to meet ISO 9000 requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and support external certification audits.
• Analyze quality data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop robust quality controls.

Required profile

• College diploma (DEC) in a quality‑related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, including Lean principles.
• At least 2 years in quality engineering or assurance within an ISO environment.
• Experience with ISO 9000 certification activities and internal auditing.
• Strong analytical mindset, autonomy, and ability to work under pressure.
• Bilingual communication skills (English and French).

Required skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt (or equivalent).
• Lean manufacturing principles.
• ISO 9000 standards and internal audit procedures.
• MQQ / ASQ certifications (preferred).
• Knowledge of composite materials, plastics, and thermoforming.
• Proficiency with quality assurance tools and software.
