Python Developer – AI & Microservices (Hybrid Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Python Engineer to design, develop, test, and support Python‑based applications and services. The role focuses on building REST APIs, microservices, and event‑driven integrations while contributing to Agentic AI workflows and MCP‑enabled components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Implement event‑driven integrations using messaging and streaming platforms.
• Contribute to AI workflow development and integration of LLM/GenAI models with enterprise systems.
• Develop reusable services following enterprise engineering standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including deployment and support.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and operational controls for reliability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyse requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Provide issue resolution, performance tuning, and application enhancements.
• Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related STEM field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience developing Python applications.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event‑driven architectures.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and source‑control systems.
• Understanding of security, governance, and risk‑management standards.
