About the role
The Purchasing Officer will support the airline ticket office by acquiring the equipment, materials and services needed for daily operations. This position works in a fast‑paced travel environment and reports to senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.
- Consult with suppliers, review quotations and establish delivery schedules.
- Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues with clients and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to align purchases with operational needs.
Required profile
- High school diploma (secondary school graduation).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in airport ticket sales or airline reservation.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Supervises a small team of 3‑4 people.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Available for early‑morning, evening and weekend shifts.
