Project Manager – Machinery Manufacturing (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a growing engineering firm, is seeking a Project Manager to lead customer projects in the machinery manufacturing sector. The role is hybrid, based in Blainville, and reports directly to senior leadership, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple customer projects from purchase order through installation, commissioning, and close‑out.
• Coordinate technical and commercial activities with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Oversee project documentation, engineering changes, and technical submittals.
• Support equipment installation, start‑up, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
• Define project scope, material requirements, and manufacturing deliverables.
• Negotiate pricing and procurement terms with suppliers.
• Maintain project tracking, reporting, and documentation systems.
• Foster collaboration between Engineering, Sales, Operations, Customer Support, and clients.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• At least 1 year of project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or technical environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex technical projects.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Experience using ERP systems.
