Project Manager – Civil Infrastructure

About the role

The Project Manager will oversee planning and delivery of civil construction projects such as water, sewer, storm infrastructure, roads and earthworks. The role ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule and within budget while serving as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate, schedule, budget and manage civil projects from initiation through completion.
• Direct and coordinate subcontractors, vendors and site personnel, allocating manpower, equipment and materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, engineers and regulatory authorities, providing timely updates and issue resolution.
• Develop and implement site‑specific safety plans and oversee quality control to meet specifications.
• Track project costs, approve expenditures, manage change orders and maintain accurate documentation for reporting and audits.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or diploma in Construction Management/Civil Engineering Technology (CET designation required or eligibility).
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Senior Project Coordinator on civil or infrastructure projects (water, sewer, roads, earthworks).
• Strong ability to review and interpret contracts, manage scope and change orders.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with ability to travel to project sites.
