Project Manager – 6-Month Contract (Kitchener)

About the role

Certified Group is seeking a Project Manager on a six‑month contract to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of nicotine, cannabis and natural health product projects across its Kitchener and Edmonton laboratories. Reporting to the Director of PMO, you will act as the primary client liaison, ensuring projects meet technical and regulatory expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the PMO team to manage the full lifecycle of commercial projects for nicotine, cannabis and NHP.
• Coordinate client‑facing workflows, including preparation and oversight of protocols, reports and summaries.
• Maintain and update short‑ and mid‑term toxicology project forecasts.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and communicate status and issues to clients.
• Report PMO performance metrics to senior management.
• Support internal and client audits as required.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience managing projects in regulated scientific or laboratory environments.
• Strong client‑relationship and communication skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Business Development, R&D, Client Services and Operations.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering accurate documentation and reports.
