Program Manager – Portfolio Management & Finance Training

About the role

The UBC Sauder School of Business is seeking a Program Manager to lead its Portfolio Management Foundation (PMF) and Women+ in Finance Training (SWIFT) initiatives. This role provides strategic and operational oversight for these experiential learning programs, ensuring they deliver high‑impact financial analysis, ethical leadership, and professional development for undergraduate students.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day‑to‑day operational management for PMF and SWIFT programs.
• Oversee program budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
• Manage administrative processes, systems, and documentation to support program delivery.
• Coordinate with student participants, faculty, and external partners to ensure smooth program execution.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal UBC Sauder stakeholders and external industry partners.
• Monitor program performance, evaluate outcomes, and implement continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in program or project management within an academic or finance‑focused environment.
• Strong understanding of capital markets, investment fund management, and financial analysis.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and financial processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
