About the role
Prairie South Schools is seeking professionals from diverse fields to join classrooms on a temporary basis. You will bring real‑world expertise to students across various schools in the division, helping to enrich curriculum and inspire learning.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver subject‑specific lessons aligned with provincial standards.
- Create an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student participation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to integrate professional insights into the curriculum.
- Participate in mentorship and professional development activities.
Required profile
- Minimum two years of post‑secondary education (certificate, diploma or degree).
- Deep knowledge and practical experience in your professional field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Willingness to learn teaching practices and obtain a Saskatchewan Temporary Teacher Permit.
