About the role
Bloom Salon is seeking a skilled hairstylist to join its team in Vernon, BC. The role involves providing a full range of hair and scalp services while delivering personalized advice to clients.
Key responsibilities
- Consult clients on beauty care treatments and analyze hair and scalp condition.
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair according to client preferences.
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses for coloring, frosting, or streaking.
- Provide custom scalp treatments, conditioning massages, and other hair treatments such as waving and straightening.
- Shampoo and wash clients’ hair and perform receptionist duties, including booking appointments.
Required profile
- Experience working in a salon environment (experience is an asset).
- Relevant certifications or a trades certificate/diploma in hairstyling.
