About the role
We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations at our Scarborough facility. The role involves planning production schedules, managing inventory, and ensuring quality standards across all shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure smooth operations.
- Evaluate daily operations and adjust processes as needed.
- Maintain inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages.
- Read blueprints and drawings to guide production setup.
- Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend machine replacements.
- Direct quality control inspections to meet product specifications.
- Hire, supervise, and train employees on new equipment and techniques.
- Plan and implement changes to machinery, production systems, and work methods.
- Plan and manage the departmental budget.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in production or manufacturing management.
